Meeting Rules

  1. Please come on time.
  2. The information shared in this group should be kept strictly confidential.
  3. We learn best by hearing experiences of others, not by getting advice.
  4. If you want to learn more about something, ask questions. Please don’t put anyone on trial or try to point out faults in someone else’s thinking or actions.
  5. Respect the opinions of others. What doesn’t work for you may work for someone else.
  6. Share your experience, even if you were unhappy about how it turned out. It may help someone else avoid repeating your mistakes.
  7. Be respectful of other’s grief. Don’t interrupt.
  8. Share the time in the group. Try not to monopolize.
  9. Don’t expect others to solve your problems or give you advice.
  10. Be open to ideas from others.
  11. Give yourself a chance. If the first meeting don’t seem to help, please come back a few more times before deciding it’s not for you.
