Resources

Below are just a few resources for ongoing support:

  • Our Healing Conversations program, which connects those who have lost a loved one to suicide with trained volunteers, who themselves are also suicide loss survivors — learn more at afsp.org/healingconversations
  • While AFSP does not run, endorse or fund any support groups, there is an easily accessible listing of both U.S. and international groups online, found at afsp.org/supportgroups
  • International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day next year will be on Saturday, November 21, 2020 — stay tuned for when registration opens next year by visiting afsp.org/survivorday
  • To find further resources to support for either yourself or a loved one, visit afsp.org/findsupport
  • Lastly, you can find local events and volunteer with your AFSP chapter at afsp.org/chapters Wishing you much strength and support during this time.

If you are in crisis, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273–8255, or text the Crisis Text Line by sending TALK to 741741
